When Julia and Suzanne's cousin Allison purchases Suzanne's shares in Sugarbakers, everyone is under the impression she is to be a silent partner -- until the little "Leona Helmsley" shows up with plans to take control of Sugarbakers. Meanwhile, Anthony -- who is leasing Suzanne's house -- gets a shock when Allison moves in and calls the police on him, and Charlene's baby sister Carlene starts working part-time for the firm doing office work.

Anthony is chosen to direct a community theater production of Mame and convinces the ladies to audition. Carlene tries writing greeting cards for extra money.

A SCENE FROM A MALL -February 24, 1992

Carlene enters a contest to write the official theme song for Atlanta --- with Julia and Mary Jo helping her sing it. The girls are delighted when they receive help from a mousy admirer, despite Allison and Anthony's suspicions of her. Allison tries to prove that the girl can't be trusted, which only reinforces Mary Jo's faith in the girl --- even though she does feel a groupie for singing decorators is kinda odd.

I ENJOY BEING A GIRL -March 9, 1992

L.A. STORY -March 23, 1992

The producers of a film Allison has invested in treat everyone to an all expense paid trip to Los Angeles --- putting them up in director Charles Nelson Reilly's home for the weekend. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to have been consulted. Plus, the sweet art film has become a biker-chick movie and the producers want the ladies to oil up their bodies and straddle motorcycles wearing bikinis.

A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC -April 27, 1992

Her co-workers and Bernice get trapped in the hospital elevator with the hospital workers on strike, and Julia's faith is renewed by a romantic doctor who serenades her with country music love songs.
